Swimming

Friday Anthony took the day off so we could have a family day together. He works ALOT and we don't get to spend much time together between his 2 jobs. So he took the day off so we could take Issak swimming before the summer is over. Issak LOVES swimming and we haven't had a free day this whole summer to take him (sad). It was also Skylers first time going swimming. We didn't take Issak swimming til he was almost a year old and Skyler is only 4 months, well almost 5. Needless to say Issak loved it and had so much fun jumping in and playing on the kids slides they have at the pool. Skyler on the other hand wasn't so sure about it. He did really well but he kept moaning like he was going to cry and he even stuck his little bottom lip out a few times. He got used to it though and I think he liked it even though he wouldn't even crack a smile the whole time. But it was fun and it was so nice to get to be together as a family for a whole day.

That night we babysat Anthonys brothers kids Zenaida, Cali & baby J.J. These are some pictures of them coloring together. Issak loves to play with them and they all play so well together.

Skylers 1st times....

Here is a little clip of Skyler eating rice cereal for the first time. You can't really tell to much, but he really didn't enjoy it. We tried again tonight and it was success. He did such a great job. He ate it all and only made a face for the first 2 bites. He is such a good baby!!

Here is another little video of Skyler rolling over. He won't roll from back to front although he really really tries. But he is a champ at rolling from his tummy to his back. This is the first... maybe second time he did that. Sorry its so dark our regualr camera isn't the best at videos, but it works.

Our Boys

Our boys are seriously the light of our lives. Issak is the best big brother. He loves Skyler so much and is always so willing to help me with him. He never once showed any kind of jealousy towards Skyler when he was born and has totally loved him from the very beginning. Skyler is now almost 5 months old and I can't believe how fast the time has flown. He is almost ready to eat solids and I swear once that happens they just keep growing faster and faster. Issak also will be going to school soon and he can't wait... I just wish pre-school wasn't so dang expensive cause he's ready to walk out the door today. Which by the way is really sad for me, I just don't want my kids to grow up, I want my babies forever! But needless to say, they are the 2 cutest and best boys and we are so blessed to have them as a part of our family!

Our Soccer Boy

As many of you know, Issak played soccer this summer and LOVED it. He was one of the best players on his team. we signed him up through the kearns Rec center not really knowing if he would enjoy it or not, but luckily he loved it. I played soccer growing up and I always wanted my little boy(s) to play so it was really fun when he decided to play soccer. We gave him the choice between soccer and T-ball and he choose soccer.

These pictures are from his last game. It was so cute, they got team pictures and a cute little trophey for playing. He thought that was so cool. There was also a little girl on his team named meagan and through the whole second half of the game he kept holding her hand.. It was so cute. I tried to get a picture, but he kept letting go as soon as Id take it. But needless to say he enjoyed it and it was so fun taking on that "soccer mom" roll.

Birthday Fun!

So this is coming a little late... I have been slacking on this blogging thing.

Well I am finally posting pictures from Issak birthday party. It was a really fun night and we had a great turnout. Thank you to all our family and friends who came and celebrated with us. Issak got so many great gifts and had so much fun!
